We have an opening for Geologist – Abu Dhabi
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
• B.Sc Geology
• Proficiency in MS Office ( Power point, Excel & Word software)
• Awareness of geo modelling software, well correlations & basic wire line log analysis.
• Willingness to learn basic skills in our main geoscience software tools: Petrel & Landmark.
• Technical position is one in which training & support will be provided to ensure competency development of the individual
• Minimum 2 years technical experience in similar role.
• Good communication skills.
• Full commitment to core value principles (HSE, leadership, people value & ethics).
• Duration : Long Term
• Closing Date : ASAP
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provides supervised support to the Reservoir characterisation, geological operations & Reservoir development team.
• Assists with collation/tabulation & data management of geological & seismic data to use as inputs to the static modelling & well-planning exercises.
• Assist in the construction of presentation materials, well montages, geological cross-sections & co-relations; subsurface maps including seismic time/depth conversion etc.
• Assist database co-ordinator to input/maintain data analysis inputs (running back-ups, ensure correct filing of all project data etc.)
