We have an opening for Operations Geologist – Abu Dhabi

Recent operations geological experience on a development projects (preferably in the Middle East).
Min. 8 years technical experience as a geologist in an Operations/wellsite geological role.

Roles & Responsibilities
Assists Wellsite Geologist and specific contractors to perform well operations work for all drilling activity in support of SY-53 and development well programs
Take key role in the preparation of Geological Well Prognosis, end of well documentation, analysis and reporting to internal/external parties
Attends daily drilling meeting and serves as key interface between wellsite and development geoscience team
Ensure distribution of all wellsite data to subsurface team and all agreed JV partners.
Assist with definition of Scope of work/evaluation of geoscience related drilling tenders and contracts (wireline, mudlogging, coring etc)
In cooperation with the Subsurface operation staff, organizes the logistics and movement of all logging tools, and reservoir and geological samples from the rig, through the ADNOC registration process and onward to selected places for analysis
Ensure the most appropriate technologies are utilized for data distribution, reporting and geological operations including wellsite geology and coring operations
