Job Description: |
• Full GMC registration and licence to practise
• Minimum 4 years postgraduate training (or equivalent) at least 2 of which must have been in speciality training
• Wide experience in General Paediatrics and Neonates
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Up to date and fit to practice safely
• All applicants have to demonstrate skills in written and spoken English that are adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients, families and colleagues. Good communication skills, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Meets professional health requirements (in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice)
• Appropriate knowledge base and ability to apply sound clinical judgement to problems
• Demonstrate understanding of the importance of audit and clinical governance
• Prepared to be flexible in working patterns
• MRCPCH (desirable)
• Either a full current driving licence and access to a car or access to a form of transport which will permit the full requirements of the post to be met
